This site seems to constantly be undergoing some kind of reincarnation. Today, the world calls for harmony and cooperation to the nth degree. With the economy as dire as it is, and the road ahead perhaps even bleaker than it is today and at least for quite a while longer (the mess that America is in seems to be far worse than the crash of 1929 and subsequent depression), everything seems to be revolving around mergers and acquisitions as a means of survival or mere dissolution.
Very recently I went ahead and shut down this zine. I had been literally putting my blood, sweat and tears into its creation (and thus my art), but found that for every step forward I took two steps back. Just as with the financial markets or any other markets for that matter, If you are not a large, well established, financially solid entity, it is highly probable that you will not survive. GGM falls under the small, newly established, financially non-existent category. However, stopping altogether tremendously saddened me.
So I decided to take on a more highly specialized approach that would be unique to me. Gothic Goddess Media is about an artist (myself) covering other artists through creative expression and endeavor. I will still continue to post interesting GGM videos, news, and other tidbits I find relevant to Gothic Goddess Media’s aesthetic. There might not be any new GGM projects under way for a while, but there are a variety of projects undergoing completion.
